As a winning mother-and-daughter-team, Elzona and Lemien created Cosmos Cuisine in 1997 as an oasis of luxury accommodation and Culinary Experiences. 

Being owner managed with Elzona as “chef” we can guarentee the consistancy of high level service and exceptional food quality. The passion and love for this life style can be “felt” throughout your experience at our oasis. 

Elzona humbly describes herself as a small town lady with no formal Culinary training, only a passion and natural feel for food. It is however evident that this “small town lady”  brings world class standards into everything she envisions and creates. 

Elzona was awarded an invitation to visit the Château de Saran in Epernay, France, a once in a lifetime invitation, as part of the top 30 restaurants voted by BOE en Moët & Chandon. We also received Winner status in the World Luxury Hotel awards this year. 

Elzona’s culinary road started 40 years ago as owner of many home industries and a catering company. Part of her qualities and passions are education. She is constantly empowering local people from the community by training them in the hospitality industry and measures her success rate in “did I make them fall in love with food”? 

For her guests she loves creating South African food with flair.  Lemien furthered her studies on Wine Evaluation and food paring. Together, they ensure their guests the ultimate culinary experience. (Even extreme special dietary requirements of guests are met with flair).  Their 7 course meal consists of 3 choices within each course and changes on a daily basis, lead by the fresh produce available.  The ladies bar is popular for guests either enjoying a pre dinner drink or a cigar to conclude the evening.

Cosmos Cuisine is a 4 star guest house which offers guests a home from home experience with their special attention to detail in every room.  From handmade soap and bath crystals to home baked delicacies the personal touch can be enjoyed throughout your stay.  Staying guests are showered with personal attention during game drives in closed air-conditioned vehichles.
